Last week I went to the Japanese Friendship Garden in San Jose. I have lived in San Jose for most of my life and have never once been to these gardens. The whole time I was there the only thing I could say was “Where are we?” It didn’t feel like I was in San Jose.

I can stare at these trees for days and I did.

I always have intense running socks on… It weirds out most people.

EO… Everything was funny to him.

It was a good day.

My friend since 6th grade was graduating from SJSU in English and I couldn’t be any prouder. I was not going to miss it for the world and so I took a trip north to San Jose. Here are some shots…

Keith, Staci’s hubby, he wants to kill me most days and the feelings are mutual..ha!

Oh and she also got a cool medal for being extra smart.

She thanked her parents for giving her a decent brain and then she proceeded to make me cry with the rest of her speech. I’m such a sucker!

And of course her dad was there to make fun of both of us because her and I are wusses.

My friends Matt & Mike had a duel birthday bash which included a good ole game of  softball, food, a keg, a “friendly” game of tackle football and bruises that will last me weeks! This was one of my favorite days… Thanks Baucus, Twelve and everybody else that is still bruised and sore too.

She was knocking them out of the park! So proud of you Danielle!

This was my team… They pretty much just drank from their bright cups.

Ian ruled the whole day. How do you deny those legs and shorst?!

Andy… He always had a cig in one hand and a beer in the other and managed to never spill a sip when he ran around the bases. What a pro!

In my photo class my teacher gave the whole class 2 weeks off from school to use that time to shoot our project for the session. My friend Chris, Missy Lou, and I decided to take our own little road trip. Lots of driving and I got to cross over 4 different state lines. Bisbee was one of our stops in AZ, it used to be big mining city but it got suck dried. 

 Missy was a trooper the whole trip. She acted like she owned every place we went… She rules.

My friend Rex is pretty awesome, he’s even more awesome when he randomly decides to shave his head.

This is my friend Joe. He’s one of my favorites.. sometimes
